Remember when we were Google, KS. Think Big and the community fought a good fight to bring Google fiber to Topeka! I felt we needed a song and I knew who would be the best person to make that happen! We even had a dance that we taught kids when we traveled around to promote the idea! It was a fun time in Topeka when tons of people worked together to bring something cool to Topeka. We didn't win but it wasn't very far from us. They ended up going to Kansas City but we still believe that our campagn still helped bring it that close!

Updating this part. In 2019 I retired the Topeka Community Calendar and put the The Newsletter on hold to redesign my website. Then 2020 happened so I used my time to help other small businesses survive. Our family was no so lucky. We lost both of our restaurant to the pandemic. Now we are rebuilding a restaurant and I am switching my focus to help promote all the eateries and drinking estamplishments in and around Topekea.
