Who is Grub N Pubs??
Grub N Pubs was created to celebrate and support the incredible food, drink, and Culinary entertainment scene in and around Topeka, Kansas. We work directly with local restaurants, bars, and eateries to promote their daily specials, featured items, and even tell their stories—making it easier than ever for locals and visitors to discover what’s cooking nearby.
Everyone needs entertainment, and the one thing that brings almost everyone together is going out to eat. Whether it’s dinner with family, cocktails with friends, or trying a new local spot, Topeka and the surrounding area are filled with amazing restaurants and bars to choose from—and we’re here to help you find them.
Our story began long before Grub N Pubs. In 2006, Kim Schultz started The Topeka Newsletter, which grew from a monthly email into a full website that kept the community informed about everything happening in Topeka. The site was a free resource where anyone could list their events, and the Everything Topeka team proudly donated their time each month to keep it running. After years of dedication, it was a difficult decision to retire the site in 2019.
After pausing The Newsletter for a redesign, everything changed when 2020 hit. Like many in the hospitality industry, our family businesses were deeply affected—we lost both of our restaurants to the pandemic. But from that loss came a new purpose: to rebuild, reconnect, and revive the local dining scene.
Now, we reopened our newest restaurant, Cosmos Court, we’re channeling our experience and passion into helping others thrive. Grub N Pubs is more than a website—it’s a movement to get people back out, support local establishments, and remind everyone that dining out is one of life’s best forms of entertainment.
We’re working hard behind the scenes and plan to be fully launched January 2026. Until then, we’re building partnerships, collecting specials, and setting the table for something truly special.
